Created to commemorate the “Day of the Apes” screenings at the Alamo Drafthouse, an epic 8-hour marathon of all five Planet of the Apes films back in May 2011. Ken Taylor’s print was part of a series released that also included Martin Ansin, Phantom City Creative, Rich Kelly, Florian Bertmer and Jason Edmiston. The poster measured 24”x36” and 390 were produced.

ABOUT Beneath the Planet of the Apes
The second of the five original flims released in the 60's and 70's. The story follows the sole survivor of an interplanetary rescue mission who searches for the only survivor of the previous expedition. He discovers a planet ruled by apes and an underground city run by telekinetic humans.
