'Jurassic Park Series' (1993 - ongoing) - Alternative Movie Poster Collection
Based on the book by Michael Crichton, this was 'the' film to see back in 1993, directed by Steven Spielberg, it's basic premise was that a theme park suffers a major power breakdown that allows its cloned dinosaur exhibits to run amok. It has now grossed over $1bn at the box office since it's inital release.A sequel followed in 1997 called The Lost World also directed by Spielberg and written by David Koepp. A third movie titled Jurassic Park III, was released on 2001 under the direction of Joe Johnston. Jurassic Park 4 was originally scheduled to be released on June 13, 2014, but has re-entered development with a summer 2015 release date.
